Day 01: Hanoi arrival (D)
Meet on arrival at Hanoi in the morning, transfer to hotel for check & relax.
In the afternoon, you'll have a chance to explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the Shore of West Lake. From there you'll go to the Temple of Literature which was Vietnam's first university and is dedicated to Confucius. Afterwards you'll walk through the Old Quarter where you'll get a sense of the daily life of this busy city on your way to Hoan Kiem Lake - the heart and soul of Hanoi. This is the part of town where the commercial streets of modern Hanoi meet the ancient 36 streets and numerous alleys amongst temples, pagodas and lakes. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi - Thai Binh - Ninh Binh (B/L)
Pickup at hotel in Hanoi and drive to Thai Binh to visit the Keo Pagoda with its beautiful bell tower in a quiet village on the Red River Delta. Continue on to Pho Minh tower in Nam Dinh; lunch en route. Proceed to Tam Coc to visit "Halong Bay on land" - the same limestone rocks as in Halong Bay but seen from a winding stream through paddy fields instead of the sea. Enjoy spectacular scenery during the boat trip to Tam Coc caves. Visit Bich Dong Pagoda. Dinner and overnight at simple hotel in Ninh Binh.

Day 03: Tam Coc - Cuc Phuong - Hoa Binh (B/L/)
Visit Dinh and Le dynasty temples. Drive to Cuc Phuong National Park for easy 3-hour trekking. Lunch en route. Continue driving to Hoa Binh. Dinner and overnight at simple hotel.

Day 04: Hoa Binh - Mai Chau - Hanoi (B/L)
Drive to Mai Chau in its pretty valley with a patchwork of rice paddies, farms and stilt houses. The area is the home of many ethnic minorities, including the Muong and the Thai. Lunch en route. Drive back to Hanoi

Day 05: Hanoi - Daparture (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Leisure or you can chose to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday) ), One-Pillar Pagoda until transfer to Noi Bai airport for back Sweet home. See you again on next time trip.
